Privacy policy

This policy explains what HG Network collects when you use hgcrafting.com and the HGCrafting game server, and what we do with it.

What we collect

On the website

  • Your Minecraft account name or ID when you make a purchase, so we can deliver it in game.
  • Your email address and payment details, collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see your full card number. We receive your email and a record of the payment.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept by our hosting provider, Vercel, for security and performance.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell data.

On the game server

  • Your game account ID, IP address, chat messages, commands and gameplay logs. These are needed to run the server, enforce rules and investigate reports.

On Discord

  • Whatever you post there is governed by Discord's own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To deliver purchases and provide support
  • To enforce the rules and keep the server secure
  • To keep a purchase history for refunds, disputes and accounting

Who we share it with

  • Stripe processes payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Supabase stores our purchase and delivery records.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Mojang, Steam and BattleMetrics are queried to verify account names and show server status. We send them only the account name or ID you enter, or our own server address.

We do not share data with anyone else unless required by law.

Retention

Purchase records are kept for seven years for accounting. Game server logs are kept for 90 days. Ban records are kept as long as the ban is in effect.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email support@hgcrafting.com from the address you used at checkout, or open a ticket in Discord.

Children

The website and server are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has made a purchase, contact us and we will remove the data and refund it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version.
